Where can I find resources for food assistance or other needs?

Do I have to pay for the appointment with a doctor or specialist?
The consultation with a doctor or specialist has no cost for residents of the cities of Delano, Waco, Shafter and Lost Hills. For individuals residing in other cities, CSF Foundation will cover 50% of the cost of the appointment with the doctor or specialist. The appointments will be programed by CSF Foundation, with doctors and specialists that are participating in “Sharing the Hope” Health Fair
What should I do if my official results show that I have a medical or surgical condition?
Our Patient Advocates will assist you schedule an appointment with a specialist. CSF Foundation will also connect you with organizations that provide resources and support to reduce the costs of specialty care and surgery.
If my screening ultrasound shows any abnormalities, will CSF Foundation pay for the diagnostic ultrasound?
YES. If your screening ultrasound is abnormal, CSF Foundation will contact you to make an appointment for a diagnostic ultrasound at no cost. The diagnostic report will also be evaluated by a specialist.
Can I take multiple exams, or should I only choose one?
You can register for more than one exam. But remember that you must have a justified reason for the study and/or medical examination
If I have health insurance, can I access free services?
NO.
What are the requirements to access free services?
- Not having health insurance
- Suspect that you have a medical and/or surgical disease
- Have a justified reason to carry out the study and/or medical examination (specifically for ultrasounds).
Do I have to register online for all studies?
Yes, but if you struggle to register online, you can call us at (661) 404-4748. A Patient Health Advocate will guide you
What can I do if I don’t qualify to access the free services through “Sharing the Hope” Health Fair, but am interested in the exams?
You can call us at (661) 333-5746. A Patient Health Advocate will provide you with information about additional resources and other options.
After I register and or log in to the website, what is the next step?
You must select the exam(s) that you are interested in and sign up for each of them individually. During the next 48 hours, a Patient Health Advocate will contact you to verify your information and schedule your exam(s).
